Thinking about it, I have difficulty recalling the JD/Jarmo regime discussing contract negotiations in public. Quite possibly, they decided to focus on Panarin first, then start talks with Bob. I advise being patient.
By all accounts (and from multiple reports), there have been little to no discussions with Bobrovsky's camp, period. That's not good. They can handle multiple negotiations at once, and have done it before.
Thing is, none of us has an ear in the Jackets FO. All we can go by is reports and how accurate those reports are depends on where the information comes from.
