I think it's been really interesting that the Blue Jackets have had three different kinds of wins thus far: a comeback in G1, a domination in G2, and a contested, gutsy win here in G3. They've been able to play with leads, come from behind, and even when the games are tied, they're still playing aggressive and seizing momentum opportunities. Let's hope they've got 1 more win for this series, and 12 more after that!

That's the best game I've seen the CBJ play all season. There was a sense of urgency from the D-Corps and the forecheck was beautiful all night. The special teams were also great: even without scoring on the PP, there were some beautiful cross-ice passes and good shots taken, and the PK was as good as I've seen it. Gotta keep the Momentum going against NYI tomorrow!

I was having a conversation about this last night; do you try and keep some of the fringe NHLer's (like Milano) around for at least another two years when the expansion draft rolls around? If you loose a Boone, Bjork, or Andy, at least you have a guy like Milano that will either have developed enough to step in, or enough time has passed that you could tell that he isn't going to pan out, and can move on from.

I've been relatively impressed by Stenlund thus far. He seems to have some good chemistry with Wennberg, and at this point, I'll take anything to get Wennberg playing better.

As far as the Power Play is concerned, I think the Jackets really just need to go the way of the Caps and set Bread up in the "Ovi Zone", and try to funnel the puck to him.

Last thing for me: I was having a conversation recently about the defensive struggles of the team, and I think the general consensus was that one of the big issues with the defense is the lack of quality center depth. Outside of PLD, there doesn't really seem to be a defensively-sound, good, center.

You're right about the Panthers; I forgot how much young talent they have. TBH I haven't paid a ton of attention to them recently, so that was a slightly uniformed comment to make on my part.

I'm worried about anything health issue with Murray - the kid's been decimated by them and he's having his best season currently; I'd hate to see that stop any progress he's made.
