I don't believe either Friedman or Portzline is wrong in their reports. I think both sides of this negotiation are trying to position themselves for purposes of leverage since the season is about to start. News will likely cool off for a couple of days and then we will see movement in one way or the other. giving us more info. Unfortunate to see negotiations get to this point.
No trade has been demanded there but there has been chatter of AA joining the KHL. More lip service than anything at this point.
