Breaking: The Blue Jackets Will Reportedly Sign Josh Anderson to a Three-Year Contract

At long last.

Contract standoffs usually end when there's a breakthrough or an olive branch. They also end when time becomes the enemy of the player.

In this case, the latter won out. With less than a week until opening night and negotiations seemingly going nowhere, Josh Anderson has reportedly decided to take the Blue Jackets' three-year offer (worth $1.85 million annually) and report to the club.
