Blue Jackets Road Success Continues In a 2-1 Win, Sweeping Season Series with the Dallas Stars

Just another game in the bitter rivalry between the Blue Jackets and...Dallas Stars?

Folks, we might have something brewing here.

But in all seriousness this was another entertaining game.

BLUE JACKETS 0 1 1 2
STARS 0 1 0 1

Sergei Bobrovsky continued his mastery of the Stars, making 26 saves and earning the win. He's allowed four goals over his last five starts (and has allowed one goal or fewer in five of the last six games), and improved to 12-1-1 in his last 14 appearances against Dallas. He's especially good in American Airlines Center, and fittingly had the Stars looking to the skies on several occasions.

Offensively, it was the top line doing the work. Cam Atkinson's power play goal gave Columbus a 1-0 lead in the second period before Alex Radulov tied it later in the period for Dallas. In the third period, Pierre-Luc Dubois broke a 1-1 deadlock only minutes after being stone-walled on a point-blank chance by Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin.

Dubois has six goals and nine points in his last nine games, and it looks like he's rounding into form. The Blue Jackets have another road win in their back pocket, they remained in first place, and head home with a couple of days before facing Florida on Thursday.

Injury Update
