The Rick Nash sweepstakes are officially over.

The New York Rangers have sent Nash to the Boston Bruins for a 2018 first-round pick, 20-year-old defensive prospect Ryan Lindgren, forward Ryan Spooner, forward Matt Beleskey and a 2019 seventh-round pick.

It is a big haul for Nash; the 33-year-old has 28 points in 60 games this season.

Nash has played in over 1,000 games during his career, he has scored 434 goals and helped with 365 assists for a total of 799 points.

Over the past three seasons, Nash has not exceeded 40 points once. Over that same period, Spooner, who the Rangers just acquired, has actually outscored Nash over that time.
