The stones on these guys, huh?

The Blue Jackets looked like a safe bet to change the channel and get ready for tomorrow night's game. Late in the second period, a shift after giving up a goal to go down 3-1 to one of the NHL's best home ice teams, Sonny Milano and Ryan Murray combined for an enormous goal.

Murray's deft slap-pass found Milano at the back post and it was 3-2 going to the third period.

Thomas Vanek tied it in the third period, Artemi Panarin briefly gave the Blue Jackets a 4-3 lead, and after the Bruins equalized it was off to overtime. After chances for both sides in 3-on-3, Murray saucered a gorgeous pass to Cam Atkinson who buried the game-winning goal.

Eight straight wins for the Blue Jackets (40-28-5) and they're building something here. They're two points back of the Pittsburgh Penguins and also putting all kinds of pressure on the Florida Panthers to be perfect down the stretch.

Forget about that, though: the Blue Jackets are taking care of business.

They got key performances from several players, but let's not overlook how good Joonas Korpisalo was. Time after time, the Bruins surged and sustained offensive zone time but the young goaltender stood in there. It might be the most impressive four-goal performance we've seen in a while. He was that good.
