This win may not have been the most aesthetically pleasing for the Blue Jackets, but it was a win nonetheless. They'll take it.

There was plenty to like from the Blue Jackets tonight, who turned it on in the third period and got a clutch overtime game winner by Sonny Milano, who had both of the team's goals. Add some superhuman goaltending from Sergei Bobrovsky goaltending to that list, too.

Let's get to the quotes:

Sonny Milano

On his first goal of the night: "I think [Oliver Bjorkstrand] was going to the point actually and ended up just throwing it around the net, which pretty much surprised everyone, including myself. Then I just got the puck behind the net and I saw a little hole and I just banked off [Hurricanes goalie Scott Darling]."

On the team's feeling after the Hurricanes tied the game late: "I think we were pretty positive throughout the whole game, including when they tied it up."

On the game winner: "You kind of know in a few minutes you're gonna get a chance of getting maybe a two on one or a breakaway the other way. Also you've gotta get back [to the defensive zone], but I got lucky and the puck kind of just bounced right on my stick and it started a breakaway."

Nick Foligno

On the Blue Jackets and the Hurricanes always playing each other close: "They're a really well-coached team. They play extremely hard. I think they're a really good team, they're emerging as a team to be reckoned with, I think, in this league."

On the game: "It's one of those games where maybe there's not a lot of atmosphere, so it's just a tight checking...you've gotta manufacture your own energy in these games. We found a way to get one late, and then they obviously tie it up. Proud of our penalty kill for having a huge kill and then Sonny comes up with an awesome play."

On Sonny Milano: "I've always said he's a skilled kid, and a guy that wants the puck on his stick. But I think he's learning, right now, when the play is there to be made and when it isn't, and that's such an important part of the NHL."

Oliver Bjorkstrand

On the game: "We played a strong game, won a hard-fought battle. I think it was back and forth a little bit, goalies played good, defense played good for both teams I feel like. I thought it was a good growing win for us."

On his assist to Sonny Milano: "I was just trying to throw it on net. Nick [Foligno] wanted to draw back and I came into the boards and sometimes you just shoot a puck to the net and things happen."

John Tortorella

On what allowed the Blue Jackets to win: "Well just killing the penalty [in overtime]. I thought that gave us a boost. I thought we did a really good job [on the kill]. We shoot one wide, they get an odd man. They shoot one wide, we get a breakaway. We score, they don't."

On the game: "Both teams checked hard. I thought we did a much better job, as far as the checking. It's an unfortunate turnover by [Markus Hannikainen], who I thought played a really good game. Other than that, that line gave us some good minutes, we kind of lost ourselves there. But hey, it's a really good road win against a really good team and I liked a lot of things we did tonight."

On what Sonny Milano brings offensively: "Forget about offense, because we know that's gonna be there. I think he's really been consistent away from the puck too. He had some coverages tonight in our end zone that were really good; I thought he did a really good on the wall protecting pucks, getting pucks out. That's the most important part for this coach. He has free reign offensively. I couldn't keep him down there with [Lukas Sedlak's] line. He was playing too good."
