Alexander Wennberg's overtime goal capped a comeback and gave Columbus a 5-4 win at Minnesota on Saturday night.

But the fact the Blue Jackets needed a comeback left the team with a little bit of a bad taste in its mouth, as shown in today's edition of Quotebook.

John Tortorella

On the game: "We have another third period and find a way to win. I think we're a little bit too cute, not shooting the puck enough. I thought we simplified a little bit better in the third period and found a way to win the game."

On the comeback: "Our power play is too cute. We're overpassing. I don't think it's a lack of effort. I just think we need to be simple. We started putting pucks to the net. It starts with Jack (Johnson) just taking a shot on goal and we score a goal on a rebound with Cam. We need to simple ourselves offensively and just go straight ahead and bang away."

On switching up the lines and defensive pairs: "I thought our team just wasn't good for a number of minutes. I thought Jack and (David Savard) struggled. Quite honestly, there's no one particular person I'm going to pick on. I think it was a group of guys that I think the effort was there, but we were not sharp. On the other hand, it's a group of guys that pulled it together and found a way to win in the third period. I don't think Bob was sharp. Our team helped him tonight as Bob has helped us in a few games."

Josh Anderson

On the changed up lines: "I think Torts likes to do that all the time. You see that when things are not happening offensively. He likes to shuffle them up there and give the team a little bit of a boost, and you saw that tonight."

On the early struggles: "I think we were trying to be a little too cute in the first couple of periods there and not following pucks to the net. In the second intermission, I think we figured it out, just funneling pucks to the net. We just found a way to win. That's all that matters."

On his tying goal late in the third: "That's a big goal. I was looking forward to that one. I was lucky enough to just get it on net and the goalie didn't see it, so it gave the boys a boost and we won it in overtime."

Cam Atkinson

On the team's second straight impressive third period: "It's great that we find a way to come back and win, but we need to figure out the first two periods. Teams are going to start realizing that, and they're not going to let us crawl back in the game like that. We have to figure out a way to start on time and be ready to go, but it was a good win."

On the team's power play struggles: "I think (we just have to) shoot it more. That's when we break down the penalty kill instead of trying to make such a nice pass or find the backdoor tap-in. We have a very skilled group out there, but we have to keep it simple. I think we're just overdoing it right now."

Alexander Wennberg

On the game: "It wasn't always pretty. Tough game, and we were battling, and a great goal by Andy at the end. It's a win right now, so it's important to us."

On overtime: "We got one opportunity, and it's not always pretty but it counts."
