While I enjoy action movies, the Fast and the Furious was always a bit heavy on the cheese for my taste in film. But Dominic Toretto said it best: "It don't matter if you win by a inch or a mile. Winning's winning."

Grammatically incorrect Vin Diesel quotes aside, the Blue Jackets pulled out three wins, two of them over Metropolitan Division rivals, in nail-biting fashion last week to make it eight points in just five games to start the season.

Let's take a look at what this week holds, shall we?

Today: Jetting to Winnipeg

Tonight the Blue Jackets will travel to the True North for the first time in the young season to take on a 3-2-0 Winnipeg Jets squad. Puck drops at 8 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Ohio and FS GO.

Thursday: Lightning Strikes

The Blue Jackets kick off a string of four straight games in Nationwide Arena when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7 p.m. Thursday. Tampa is off to a 5-1-0 start and sits atop the Eastern Conference standings after a win in Detroit on Monday night. Fox Sports Ohio will once again televise the game, as well as Sunshine Sports for viewers outside of the Blue Jackets television market.

Saturday: Don't Crown 'Em

The Los Angeles Kings come to town to finish off a busy week of games at 7 p.m. Saturday night. The team is off to a 4-0-1 start on the young season and looks primed to bounce back and contend in the wide-open Pacific Division. Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports West will televise the game.
