Coming off back-to-back victories at Nationwide Arena, the Blue Jackets couldn't get the job done against one of the league's top teams in St. Louis on Saturday night, falling to the Blues 4-1. Here's post-game reaction from head coach John Tortorella and his players.

John Tortorella

On whether he was frustrated it took a second goal by the Blues to motivate the team: "It shouldn't just frustrate me, it should frustrate the team. That's the most important part."

On the performance of goalie Joonas Korpisalo: "He made a lot of saves."

On whether tonight was a growing pain of a young team: "No, we're not gonna use the young stuff. Let's not start bringing that in because we lose a hockey game. Both teams came in on a back-to-back, they played better early on, grabbed momentum right away and they get the lead. It's tough, against a veteran team like that, to come back when you get down a couple."

On a Cam Atkinson injury update: "I haven't talked to the trainers."

Nick Foligno

On slow starts being concerning: "It's concerning in the sense that we have to understand who we are, and get to that a little bit faster here. I understand we're a young team, but there's a lot of pieces in here that can pull us along."

On power play frustrations: "It was a 3-1 game at the time, we get that power play, and who knows? There's lots of time left, and we just didn't generate anything off of it. We've gotta find a way. It's some adversity we're facing right now, and it's the reality of the game we're playing."

Brandon Dubinsky

On giving better effort: "I thought we had a lot of scoring chances, we couldn't find a way to bury them, we have to. But again, just too sloppy defensively, and again, our start. We're the road team, there's no pressure. We've gotta come out here and play a simple, hard game, straightforward, forechecking. You could tell right from the first couple shifts. We weren't getting pucks deep, we were having turnovers in the neutral zone."
