The Blue Jackets managed to grind out three of the four games they played in a span of six days. Last night's shootout win over Boston was a test.

After playing five of their previous six games at Nationwide Arena, the Columbus Blue Jackets head south to take on the Florida Panthers in a 7:30 p.m. tilt on Thursday night. It will be the opener of a three-game road trip, and the second of three consecutive match-ups with Atlantic Division opponents. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Florida.

Saturday: Lightning Strikes a Second Time

Two weeks after a disappointing 2-0 loss to the Lightning at home, the Blue Jackets travel to Tampa hungry for revenge. It should be an exciting match-up, as the Lightning remain one of the NHL's hottest teams in the early going and pack a ton of offensive firepower, led by Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos. Puck drops at 7 p.m. from Amalie Arena, and you can watch on Fox Sports Ohio locally.

Monday: New York, New York

The Blue Jackets finish the road trip against the struggling Rangers at Madison Square Garden, the second game of the season series between the two division rivals. The Rangers sit last in the Metropolitan Division and have already allowed 43 goals, fourth-most in the NHL.
