The sickness has arrived in Columbus.

The Blue Jackets were starting to hum along and currently sit first in the Metropolitan Division with a 10-6-2 record (22 points). They've got points in five straight games (3-0-2) largely due to the resurgent play of Sergei Bobrovsky, who's been dynamite over his last handful of starts.

Artemi Panarin hasn't had a great stretch of late, but he's still finding a way to produce points. Both players will miss tonight's game against the Florida Panthers at Nationwide Arena due to illness, as announced by the team this afternoon.

Gabriel Carlsson was recalled last night, as well, with Ryan Murray's status in question. Murray missed practice with what was termed a "maintenance day" but wasn't part of the illness report released by the club.

Zac Dalpe and J-F Berube are joining the Blue Jackets for tonight's game, and there's a chance Dalpe could be in the lineup. He's had a tremendous start to his season with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL).
