Yikes: Zach Werenski Couldn't See Out of His Right Eye and Left Game 3 Early

Zach Werenski's teammates and coaches absolutely love him.

Why? Look no further than Game 3 tonight at Nationwide Arena.

He took a shot off his right eye in the second period, left the game, and appeared poised to return in the third period after getting stitches, some more medical work, and sporting a full face shield.

The injury was so severe that Werenski's vision was impaired and he was unable to stay in the game. His head coach, John Tortorella, was thoroughly impressed by his rookie defenseman's resolve and determination to make a difference by any means possible.
