Blue Jackets Announce Fan Festivities for the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Blue Jackets are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the club wants to make things festive.

Columbus announced several fan events ahead of the team's opening round series with the Pittsburgh Penguins today, inviting backers to “March On” when the series shifts to Columbus for game three.

On Sunday, April 16, the festivities kick off with live music, attractions and beverage stations outside of Nationwide Arena at 3 p.m. On Tuesday, April 18 for game two, the party starts at 4:30 p.m. outside the Arena. Game tickets are not required to attend either of the plaza parties.

Fans attending game three will receive a t-shirt, while those attending game four will receive a rally towel.

The Blue Jackets and Penguins will meet in game one of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio has local coverage of the game, while USA Network has rights to out-of-market coverage.
