Week One of the 2017-18 season saw the Columbus Blue Jackets open with a 1-1-0 record, cruising to a 5-0 season-opening win over the New York Islanders but also dropping a 5-1 losing effort to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Here's what's on their slate this week.

Today: Road Game in Raleigh

Looking to rebound from their first loss of the season, the Blue Jackets travel to PNC Arena to take on the Carolina Hurricanes in a Metropolitan Division showdown. Josh Anderson will likely be making his return, after joining the team Sunday from a conditioning assignment.

The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. and you can catch the game on Fox Sports Ohio or Fox Sports Carolina. We'll have complete pre and post-game coverage right here at 1st Ohio Battery.

Friday: Home Vs. the Rangers

In a second straight Metro Division contest (and their third in four games to open the season), the Blue Jackets face off against the New York Rangers at Nationwide Arena. The game is another 7:00 p.m. puck drop, and will be televised on both Fox Sports Ohio and MSG.

Saturday: On the Road Against the Wild

You wanted back-to-backs, you got 'em (well, you probably didn't want them). The Blue Jackets are double-dipping on a weekend once again. This time, they'll travel to Minnesota to take on the Wild at Xcel Energy Center, a 8:00 p.m. start that airs on Fox Sports Ohio.
