Only one of the wins was comfortable, but the Columbus Blue Jackets ripped off six consecutive victories in what was their longest such streak this season before having it snapped last night against the Canadiens. Here's what's on tap this week.

Tonight: I Feel Hurricanes A-Blowing...

The Carolina Hurricanes crash into Nationwide Arena at 7 p.m. tonight for the second half of a back-to-back for the Blue Jackets. The Hurricanes are near the bottom of the Metropolitan Division with 24 points, but have played well in recent games despite not scoring many goals. Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Carolina will carry the game.

Friday: Anaheim Ducks In

The Blue Jackets kick off a home and road back-to-back when the Anaheim Ducks visit Columbus on Friday. Expect a tight-checking game, as the Ducks are in the top 10 in goals allowed but also in the bottom five in terms of goals scored. Puck again will drop at 7 p.m., and the broadcast will be carried by Fox Sports Ohio.

Saturday: Capital Punishment

For the Washington Capitals, a 14-10-1 start to the season as the defending Metropolitan Division champion has been less than ideal. However, they are still well within striking distance and you can expect a hotly-contested game when the Blue Jackets travel there Saturday. Grabbing points against Metro foes continues to ramp up in importance. Puck drops at 7 p.m. and Fox Sports Ohio will once again carry the game.
