Two days of rest greeted the Columbus Blue Jackets after two strenuous victories over the New Jersey Devils and the Arizona Coyotes on back-to-back days.

"I just don't think we had much juice tonight," Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella said after a 1-0 win over the Coyotes on Saturday.

Now, the Blue Jackets gear up for four games over the course of seven days, including two against divisional rivals.

Tonight: Striking Oil

Kicking off this week is a home match-up with the sub-.500 Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers will be relying on backup goaltender Laurent Brossoit in place of an injured Cam Talbot. Brossoit allows .27 more goals per game than the Oilers' No. 1 netminder. Puck drops at 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast by Fox Sports Ohio.

Thursday: The Island of Columbus

The Blue Jackets cap off a three-game home stand Thursday night against the New York Islanders. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since they opened their respective seasons against each other in October, a tilt the Blue Jackets dominated 5-0 at Nationwide Arena. You can catch the action on MSG+ or Fox Sports Ohio.

Saturday: Hopefully There's a Bigger Crowd This Time...

For the fourth and final time this season, the Blue Jackets will be playing the Carolina Hurricanes. Looking to finish 3-1-0 on the year against this tough Metropolitan rival, the Blue Jackets will be on the road for another 7 p.m. puck drop. Of course, the last time the Blue Jackets went to Carolina, less than 8,000 people witnessed the game in-person. Regardless, it will be broadcast on TV by Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Carolina.

Monday: Battle's a-Bruin

The Blue Jackets finish this week with a road trip to face the Atlantic Division's third-place team, the Boston Bruins. Last time the two teams faced off it ended in a shootout, so expect a battle until the finish between two solid squads. Puck drops at 7 p.m. once again and will be televised by the New England Sports Network and Fox Sports Ohio.
