The last week has been up and down for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Now done for the year with the Carolina Hurricanes, a trio of here-to-fore unplayed Metropolitan Division foes await the Blue Jackets over the next seven days.

Wednesday: Leaf Me Alone

As the start of a home-and-road back-to-back for the Blue Jackets, the Toronto Maple Leafs enter Nationwide Arena for a 7:30 puck drop tomorrow. The Maple Leafs sit firmly in second place in the Atlantic Division, nine points behind the Lightning for first and ahead of the Bruins by multiple games for second. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Ohio.

Thursday: Pitt of Misery

After 34 games against competition lacking in flightless bird mascots, the Columbus Blue Jackets finally get their first of four shots to avenge their loss to the Penguins in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in April. The Penguins aren't as hot this year, allowing the most goals in the Metropolitan and sitting sixth in the division. But these games always manage to be physical and leave little margin for error. Game starts at 7 in Pittsburgh, and will be broadcast by Fox Sports Ohio.

Saturday: Flying to Action

The Blue Jackets return home for their first meeting of four this season with the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday. No team has been on more of a roller coaster ride, a ten game losing streak followed by winning six in a row has been the story of the last month for Philadelphia. Puck drops at 7, and the game is televised by Fox Sports Ohio and NSPA.
