The Columbus Blue Jackets didn't have a first-round pick last year, trading it away to the Vegas Golden Knights in an expansion day deal, but they're not lacking for talent with their 2017 draft class. One of those talented players is French forward Alexandre Texier, a second-round pick who made his debut in Finland's Liiga this year.
In his first taste of professional hockey, Texier put up a strong season, with 22 points in 53 regular season games.
