The Columbus Blue Jackets kick off their western Canada swing tonight against the red hot Calgary Flames, who have been one of the best teams in the league so far. Columbus has certainly had some struggles against the western Canadian teams this season, but lately, they've looked like a different team.

It'll be a late night – the puck drops at 9 p.m. – so pencil in a post-work nap.

Forwards

Panarin - Dubois - Atkinson

Dzingel - Duchene - Anderson

Sedlak - Jenner - Nash

Wennberg - Dubinsky - Bjorkstrand

Defensemen

Werenski - Jones

Nutivaara - Savard

Harrington - McQuaid

Goaltenders

Bobrovsky/Korpisalo

Storylines
  • Last time these two teams met is a memory most Blue Jackets fans would likely want to forget, as Calgary put up nine goals to smash the Blue Jackets. Fun fact: Columbus actually jumped out to a 4-1 lead early in the second period that night.
  • Sergei Bobrovsky played what may have been his worst game of the season that night (granted that the team in front of him was atrocious), but he's looked like his old self lately. Will he have a bounce-back performance?
  • The top line of Artemi Panarin, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson has struggled lately – can they get things rolling when it matters most?
