Blue Jackets Announce Protected List: Domi, Stenlund, and Kukan Exposed

The Blue Jackets protected list for the upcoming expansion draft has been made public.

Notable unprotected players include Max Domi, Kevin Stenlund, and Dean Kukan. Domi will miss at least the first month of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, and he'll be an unrestricted free agent afterward. The Blue Jackets are betting on Seattle passing him up and selecting either Stenlund or Kukan, but if the Kraken think they can sign him to a contract extension, Domi could be their pick.
