The 2024 NCAA D1 Hockey Tournament began on Thursday, but none of the games featured the Blue Jackets prospects in the tournament.

Here's a Blue Jackets fan's guide to the 2024 NCAA Tournament:

Who's Playing

  • Boston College has the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament and is in the Providence Regional, Wisconsin has the No. 2 seed in the Providence Regional, and Michigan has the No. 3 seed in the Maryland Heights, Missouri, Regional.

When are the games?

The second set of regional semi-final games is on Friday. Boston College plays Michigan Tech at 2 p.m. ET on ESPNU, Wisconsin faces Quinnipiac at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPNNEWS, and Michigan plays North Dakota at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

If either Boston College or Wisconsin wins on Friday, they'll play in the Providence Regional final on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU and if Michigan wins, they'll play the winner of Michigan State/Western Michigan on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

The four regional winners will meet in the Frozen Four in Minneapolis, with the semi-finals on Thursday, Apr. 11, and the title game on Saturday, Apr. 13.
