Blue Jackets Fan's Guide To The 2024 NCAA Hockey Tournament

The 2024 NCAA D1 Hockey Tournament began on Thursday, but none of the games featured the Blue Jackets prospects in the tournament.

Here's a Blue Jackets fan's guide to the 2024 NCAA Tournament:

Who's Playing

  • Boston College defenseman Aidan Hreschuk (94th overall in 2021), Wisconsin forward William Whitelaw (No. 66 overall in 2023), and Michigan forward Gavin Brindley (34th overall in 2023).
  • Boston College has the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament and is in the Providence Regional, Wisconsin has the No. 2 seed in the Providence Regional, and Michigan has the No. 3 seed in the Maryland Heights, Missouri, Regional. 

When are the games?

The second set of regional semi-final games is on Friday. Boston College plays Michigan Tech at 2 p.m. ET on ESPNU, Wisconsin faces Quinnipiac at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPNNEWS, and Michigan plays North Dakota at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. 

If either Boston College or Wisconsin wins on Friday, they'll play in the Providence Regional final on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU and if Michigan wins, they'll play the winner of Michigan State/Western Michigan on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. 

The four regional winners will meet in the Frozen Four in Minneapolis, with the semi-finals on Thursday, Apr. 11, and the title game on Saturday, Apr. 13.
