That's more like it.

The Blue Jackets dominated the Vancouver Canucks tonight, snagging a 5-0 win and grabbing two crucial points.

The offense clicked at a high level, and they were generating chances all night. Josh Anderson (2), Pierre-Luc Dubois, Ryan Dzingel, and Oliver Bjorkstrand scored for Columbus. Defensively, the Blue Jackets were also solid, limiting Vancouver's opportunities. Sergei Bobrovsky turned in a 21-save shutout.

Here are three things from tonight's big win in Vancouver.

Offensive Explosion

Whoa. That's the offensive attack that everyone's been waiting to see from the Blue Jackets since their aggressive acquisitions at the trade deadline. All four lines were rolling tonight.

Goals from Anderson (2), Dubois, Dzingel and Bjorkstrand led the Blue Jackets to victory. Anderson has been consistent all year, even in the worst of times for Columbus, but getting goals from Dubois, Dzingel, and Bjorkstrand is nothing but great news moving forward for the Blue Jackets. Dzingel was in a mini slump, while Dubois' slump was more pronounced, but both were snapped tonight. Bjorkstrand hasn't been the most consistent, either. The more contributors, the better. Especially this time of year.

The line of Boone Jenner, Alexander Wennberg, and Oliver Bjorkstrand looked excellent all night and drove play when they were on the ice. They made a strong case to be kept together in future games.

Monkey Off Of His Back

Hello, Pierre-Luc Dubois!

Dubois snapped a 14-game goal scoring drought with this wrister in the second period, giving the Blue Jackets a 2-0 lead.

The Blue Jackets need PLD to produce in the worst way possible, because all three members of the 9-18-13 line have been slumping recently. If Dubois can improve his level of play, he will improve those around him, and they will improve those around them. It's science. Kinda.

Bob Stands Tall

Sergei Bobrovsky turned in another dominant performance at the office tonight, stopping all 21 of Vancouver's shots to turn in a shutout and eliminate any chance of a Vancouver comeback. Bob will have to be at his best over these last few games for the Blue Jackets to clinch a playoff spot. Right now, they're on the outside, looking in. Tonight was a step in the right direction.
