Columbus Blue Jackets Select Defenseman Robbie Stucker in the 7th Round with the 210th Pick of the NHL Draft

The Columbus Blue Jackets ended their draft by selecting an American defenseman.

In the 7th round of the NHL Draft with the 210th pick, the Blue Jackets selected defenseman Robbie Stucker. He played for St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.

Stucker will be playing his 2017-18 season with the Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In 2018-19 he will play for Colorado College of the NCAA.

In 25 games played this past season for St. Thomas Academy, Stucker put up 40 points including eight goals and 32 assists. 


UPDATE: Stucker will be playing for the Chicago Steel of the USHL in 2017-18.
