The New Jersey Devils were toast once the Breadman got hot.

The Columbus Blue Jackets needed a player to step up in a big way when they went down 2-0 heading into the first intermission.

The player they brought in for his difference-making ways, Artemi Panarin, lived up to his promise. It was enough for the Blue Jackets to come out with a 5-3 win on the road.

The Russian forward had five assists, all of which were primary and he turned the game on its head with his game-breaking skill. To make it even more interesting, the assists were to five different players as well. Pierre-Luc Dubois, Lukas Sedlak, Scott Harrington, Alexander Wennberg, and Zach Werenski all scored goals.

Panarin has seven goals and 18 assists, leading the Blue Jackets with 25 points in 29 games this season. In his past four games, Panarin has two goals and seven assists totaling nine points.
