An American Columbus Blue Jacket is tearing up the 2018 IIHF World Championships. It will be a tournament to remember, regardless of result.

Cam Atkinson scored one goal in the game but it was an absolutely impressive one after receiving a pass from Nick Bonino that was professional quality. It was only the second goal of the game, but proved to be a crucial one as the U.S. had to hold on until the third period before pulling away.

Another Blue Jackets forward, Sonny Milano, dressed for the game but didn't see any ice time (he had zero shifts).

Patrick Kane also starred in the game, posting two goals including the game-winning goal.

Team USA has had an up and down tournament but now during single elimination, it looks like they are heating up at the right time.
