This iteration of 'Behind the Battle' may be the most fascinating episode in the whole series.

We go behind the scenes, seeing several members of the Blue Jackets front office in the days leading up to the trade deadline.

The video starts out with Blue Jackets Director of Hockey Administration Josh Flynn calling NHL Central Registry to put the final touches on the deal that sent two conditional first-round picks and two prospects to the Ottawa Senators for a prospect (later traded) and Matt Duchene.

Duchene is excited to meet the equipment managers, Tim LeRoy and Jamie Healy, and other members of the locker room support staff, and we see the newest (at the time) member of the Blue Jackets give his first 'Kepi' locker room speech after a win over his former team, the Ottawa Senators.

Later, we see GM Jarmo Kekalainen drive into work on the day of the trade deadline and newcomer Ryan Dzingel at his first practice with his new club. Finally, NHL Network is shown breaking down the news of Keith Kinkaid and Adam McQuaid joining the Blue Jackets.

It's a nicely done segment that does a nice job summarizing a crazy week in the Blue Jackets season.
