The Blue Jackets are coming off an important overtime victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, which saw them score three unanswered goals and will look to carry that momentum into tonight's game.

Korpisalo is 4-0-1 in his last five starts and has solidified his position as the number one goaltender for the Jackets.

Meanwhile, the Flyers are coming into the game on a two-game winning streak after beating the Knights and Blackhawks this week. Since the Flyers head to New York to take on the Islanders on Sunday, they will be aiming to make the most of tonight's game.

Here's a look at tonight's projected lines for the Blue Jackets:

Forwards

Foligno–Dubois–Atkinson
Nyquist–Wennberg–Bjorkstrand
Texier–Jenner–Anderson
Milano–Nash–Bemstrom

Defenseman

Werenski–Jones
Murray–Savard
Gavrikov–Kukan

Goalies: Korpisalo

Extras: Harrington, Lilja

Injured: Nutivaara

Storylines

  • One-Goal Games. The last eight games for the Jackets have ended in one-goal games. Every possession and every shift matters in one-goal games, so the team will need to limit their mistakes and create some puck luck.
  • Big Josh Anderson. After missing games with an injury, Anderson returned to the line-up against the Hurricanes, but is still looking for his first point of the season. If the Jackets can get him going tonight, it would help provide the necessary depth scoring the team needs.
  • Win the Face-offs. The Flyers lead the league in face-off percentage with 57.5%, while the Jackets sit at 22nd with 48.9%. Retaining possession of the puck in the offensive zone is important and in order to do that they need to come up big at the dot against the best team in the league.
