Blue Jackets center Cole Sillinger is day-to-day with an upper-body injury he suffered in the team's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens on Wednesday. According to the team, he underwent tests on Thursday.

This is a big blow for the Blue Jackets, as Sillinger centered the team's best line where he was flanked by Dmitri Voronkov and Yegor Chinakhov.

Sillinger joins Jack Roslovic (fractured ankle, out four-to-six weeks) and Damon Severson (oblique, out approximately six weeks) as Blue Jackets skaters who are out due to injury.

The Blue Jackets face the Ottawa Senators Friday at 7 p.m. ET at Nationwide Arena on Bally Sports Ohio.
