A Way Too-Early Look at the Blue Jackets Potential Opening Night Lineup

In arguably the most dramatic Blue Jackets offseason to date, there's plenty of uncertainty heading to October.

What we do know is that if the organization is looking to start putting up the giant arena-sized player art on the front of Nationwide Arena, they can always count on Boone Jenner, Cam Atkinson and Seth Jones to fill those spots. 

And maybe Rick Nash, just to throw people off.

But if all stays quiet...which it seems like many aren't expecting, here's a potential opening night lineup for the Blue Jackets (as well as each players' 2017-2018 stat line), for when they travel to Detroit on Oct. 4 to take on the Red Wings.


FORWARDS
 
First line:

LW: Artemi Panarin (81 games played, 27 goals, 55 assists, 82 points)

C: Pierre Luc Dubois (82 GP, 20 G, 28 A, 48 P)

RW: Cam Atkinson (65 GP, 24 G, 22 A, 46 P)

LW: Boone Jenner (75 GP, 13 G, 19 A, 32 P)
