Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has continued his torrid pace this season and has put another honor on his resume. While not the Vezina, he was named the NHL's second star of the week.

Over the course of three games, Bobrovsky posted a .950 save percentage, had one shutout and faced 80 shots saving 76 of them.

To make it even more ridiculous, Bobrovsky had even better numbers the week before that but it was only in two games. That week also included a shutout.

Bobrovsky currently leads the NHL in multiple categories including save percentage, shutouts, and goals against average. He is in second place in wins only behind Andrei Vasilevsky of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Vegas Golden Knights center Jonathan Marchessault was named first star and Washington Capitals winger Alexander Ovechkin was the third star selection for this past week.

Bobrovsky is keeping a near-historic pace and because of it, the Blue Jackets are once again on a prolonged winning streak. Tonight, they will look to extend it against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.
