Recently, "The Bob" has made it look easy.

Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is leading the league in shutouts, it is a position that he is used to after all of these years as an elite netminder.

He is also doing it during a time where the Blue Jackets offense has gone missing. It matters that he has shutouts because many nights, the team has only been able to muster a goal.

It was no different when the Blue Jackets took on the Arizona Coyotes when they were able to squeak out a 1-0 win.

Making it even more impressive, Bobrovsky was playing on back to back nights, managing to get wins in both games. He wasn't too worried about playing both nights.

"I felt great," said Bobrovsky. "I felt like a had a good sleep, I had good rest, I was ready to go today. I enjoy those kind of challenges."

Nothing phases Bobrovsky, he is tossed into different situations and always comes out ahead. The team is trying to ensure that he gets more rest so that the excellence can continue into the playoffs.

"Since his break that we gave him (Bobrovsky), this is his best start," said head coach John Tortorella. "We come back with him, I think we need to get him in a flow after giving him a few days, goalies need to get into a flow."

On the cusp of leading the league in other categories, Bobrovsky isn't done ascending to the league's pinnacle. There is more to accomplish and the Blue Jackets know this, how far they go will be determined by their Russian backstop.
