Ouch. On Sunday, for the third time in December, the Columbus Blue Jackets lost by five goals.

As they look to rebound, here's who they'll face this week.

Tonight: A Star in the Making

The Blue Jackets start this week with a trip to Dallas to play the Stars. It's the first of two meetings between the teams this season, the second of which will occur in just sixteen days. It will be broadcast by Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Southwest, with the puck dropping at 8:30.

Thursday: AVALANCHE!!!

The Colorado Avalanche have been a fine California Chardonnay over the past few years. As in, they are used to a cellar. And it's exactly where they are right now even though this has been a rebound season for them. So long as they don't take the Avalanche lightly, the Blue Jackets have a great shot at coming away with two points on the road. The two squads will square off at 9 p.m. on Fox Sports Ohio.

Sunday: Panther Pride

After four of their last five games being on the road, the Blue Jackets return to Nationwide Arena for a match-up with the Florida Panthers. The Panthers are fourth place in the Atlantic Division, but with 39 points would be the last place team in either the Metropolitan or the Central. They've won five straight games, though, and may be turning their game around. Puck drops at 5 p.m. on Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Florida.
