Who says the summer has to be a quiet time for hockey news?

The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed 2018 first-round draft pick forward Liam Foudy to an entry-level contract. The deal is a standard three-year contract.

Foudy put up 40 points in 65 games last season for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Foudy is currently participating in Canada's camp for the 2018 Sport Chek World Junior Showcase. Many players that look to be selected for the World Junior Championship in the winter take part in this camp.
