Columbus Blue Jackets prospect and forward Liam Foudy had a good summer when he was drafted by the Blue Jackets. Now it appears that his winter may be putting a damper on the good times.

Foudy was just released from Team Canada's World Junior team ahead of the 2019 World Junior Championship that will be taking place in Vancouver and Victoria from December 26 to January 5.

In 24 games this season for the London Knights Foudy has 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points.

Foudy is still considered a raw player due to his lack of focus on one sport until recently. The tools for Foudy, (his speed and agility) though were too much for the Blue Jackets to pass up when they used the 18th pick on him during the 2018 NHL Draft.
