The Columbus Blue Jackets and their Russia connection continues to pay dividends.

Team Russia has released their finalized roster for the World Junior Championship, and with it, two Blue Jacket prospects will be on the club.

Forward Kirill Marchenko and goaltender Daniil Tarasov have made the U20 team.

Marchenko has played between three different clubs this season as the SKA St. Petersburg organization tries to find a place for him. Tarasov has been playing in the minor league for the KHL where he has posted a .916 save percentage.

Both players are high potential and should play prominent roles with Team Russia as they get set to play in Victoria and Vancouver from December 26 to January 5.
