As I noted in a previous Forum post, Dimitri Voronkov has been in trade rumors all summer. Many of the suggested trades were, to be blunt, stupid fan boy ideas that wouldn't happen in any universe.

Well, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers conducted an interview with Don Waddell and asked him about the rumors. According to Waddell, when negotiating with the Islanders for the possible Noah Dobson trade, the Isles asked for the Big Boss, insisting he be part of the return. Waddell refused. And there has been no other potential trade negotiation which included Voronkov.

The Big Boss hasn't been going anywhere.
