Another injury blow to the Blue Jackets

The club announced that Patrik Laine is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with a sprained ankle he suffered in Saturday night's loss to the New York Islanders.

Laine has posted 2-2--4 in eight games played. He suffered an elbow sprain on opening night that caused him to miss six games this season.

If Laine misses the next three weeks, he will miss ten games (return for 12/6 @ PIT); if he misses the next four, he will miss 14 games (return for 12/13 @ FLA).

The Jackets host the Flyers on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu and 97.1 FM The Fan.
