The Blue Jackets have their first of three matchups with the Maple Leafs Friday night at Nationwide Arena. The game is the first of a home-and-home back-to-back as the teams will travel to Toronto and play there Saturday.

Notes

Patrik Laine was absent from morning skate, but head coach Brad Larsen said he will play tonight and he took a "morning off" today. 

Joonas Korpisalo (8-9-3, .906SV%, 3.35 GAA) will start for the Blue Jackets in goal.
