1st Period

Brendan Dillon opened the scoring to put Winnipeg ahead at 3:12 on a two-on-one rush when his centering pass deflected off Erik Gudbranson's stick and past Daniil Tarasov.

Cole Sillinger nearly tied the game at 7:18 with a shot from the slot that got past Hellebuyck but it hit the crossbar and then the post.

The Jets led 1-0 after the first period while trailing 8-5 in shots on goal.

2nd Period

Perfetti made it 2-0 Jets at 10:50 from the right doorstep off a feed from Dylan Samberg, who attracted Damon Severson towards him before dishing to a wide-open Perfetti.

Josh Morrissey extended Winnipeg's lead at 14:03 with a left-circle blast after Jake Bean's neutral-zone pass was intercepted by Adam Lowry, who found Morrissey in the offensive zone.

At 19:42, Neal Pionk was assessed a clipping penalty for hitting Adam Fantilli, as shown below. Pionk then fought Justin Danforth and Fantilli remained in the game.

Winnipeg led 3-0 after two periods while trailing 17-14 in shots on goal.

3rd Period

After Johnny Gaudreau's pass to Adam Fantilli in the defensive zone jumped over his stick, Perfetti picked up the puck in the right slot and wired a shot past Tarasov at 3:34.

Gabe Vilardi put the Jets up 5-0 on the power play at 9:29 from the right circle thanks to a nice dish from Lowry.

With the loss, the Blue Jackets fell to 13-20-9.
