Blue Jackets Prospect David Jiricek Records Three Assists In Final Game of Two-Game AHL Stint

Blue Jackets prospect David Jiricek had three assists in the final game of a two-game AHL stint in a 4-3 Cleveland Monsters loss to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Saturday. 

Jiricek, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2022 Draft, was loaned to the Monsters on Thursday after being a healthy scratch in back-to-back games. In 40 NHL games, he's recorded 1-8--9 including 1-8--9 in 36 games this season. 

He will join the team on Sunday when they head to Edmonton to begin their Western Canada road trip.

The Blue Jackets are back in action on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET against the Oilers on Bally Sports Ohio.
