Schaffer could be a franchise altering player. How fortunate for the NYI! With the NY media pumping him up for the foreseeable future, I expect Matthew to be the face of the NHL in no time. How lucky for the NHL that he landed right in the middle of all that national media.

The only downside for the CBJ and Zach is that with all Matt's support from US media (and young Lane Hutson's support from Montreal/Canadian media), after this year it is going to become increasingly difficult to win the Norris trophy.
