Sergei Bobrovsky is on fire.

Fans of the Columbus Blue Jackets know what that's like (although maybe not this late into the calendar year), and there are few players better in the league when Bobrvosky is at his best.

As the best goaltender in franchise history closes in on winning a Stanley Cup with another team, let's take a trip down memory lane at the five best saves for Bob as a member of the Blue Jackets:

#5: Playoff Stop On Ovi (April 21st, 2018)

The only highlight that comes from an eventual loss, this save on one of the all-time greatest players in the opening round of the 2017-18 Stanley Cup Playoffs was dazzling. "Playoff Bob" has a bad reputation at this point, but with saves like this, the criticism was perhaps a little overblown.

#4: Beautiful Blocker Save (November 15th, 2017)

How this ended up as the second best save of the week for Sergei Bobrovsky is mind-blowing, but a save four days earlier later in this list tops it. And like that game, Columbus would win this game 2-1 in extra time.

#3: Preserving The Shutout (December 3rd, 2013)

The Blue Jackets would win this game 1-0 behind a joint shutout of Bobrvosky (18 saves) and Curtis McElhinney (eight saves), and this stop was part of the reason why.

#2: Overtime Skate Save (November 11th, 2017)

It's been more than more than five years and I still have no idea how Bobrovsky made this save. It's a 2-on-0 rush in overtime and the Detroit Red Wings are about to win, and then, they don't. Because Bobrovsky made a sprawling save with the tip of his skate. The Blue Jackets would go on to win the game 2-1 in a shootout that went six extra rounds.

#1: The Playoff Save (April 10th, 2019)

The exact save is at the 2:05 mark in this video, but how do you not just use this as a chance to rewatch the entire highlight package?

After a dreadful first period, Bobrovsky's point-blank save here keeps Tampa's lead at 3-0, and the Blue Jackets would go to win the game 4-3 — and the series in a historic sweep. This save was the reason why, and would lead to the best moment in franchise history four games later.
