How about some good news for your Sunday?

Yegor Chinakhov (Russia), Samuel Knazko (Slovakia), and Mikael Pyythiä (Finland) will head to the World Junior Championship to represent their countries in two weeks' time.

The World Junior Championship is a U-20 tournament, so the Blue Jackets don't have many prospects that are eligible. Players like Dmitri Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko, who have been playing well in the KHL, are overage.

Our very own Dan Dukart has a great breakdown of Chinakhov, Knazko, and Pyythiä as well as the World Junior Championship that you can read here:

Below, you'll find the official tournament rosters for Russia, Slovakia, and Finland:

Team Russia

Team Slovakia

Team Finland

The World Junior Championship is always a very exciting tournament. The group stage games are slated begin on December 26th.
