Welcome back (again), Max Domi.

After missing four games with a fractured rib suffered in the Blue Jackets' Oct. 16 win over the Seattle Kraken, Domi is slated to return to the lineup.

Columbus begins a three-game road trip Friday at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers.

The Blue Jackets made it official Wednesday afternoon, activating the 26-year-old forward off injured reserve. Originally scheduled to miss 2-4 weeks of action, Domi is back in 11 days. It's the second time he's been "ahead of schedule" with an injury recovery this season; Domi played opening night for Columbus following offseason shoulder surgery that was expected to keep him out of the lineup until November or December.

Domi has a goal (scored in the Blue Jackets' opening night rout of Arizona) and three assists in his first two games of the season, collecting 1-2-3 in the season opener and an assist on Patrik Laine's overtime game-winning goal vs. the Kraken.
