The Blue Jackets announced today that they assigned Cole Sillinger to the AHL's Cleveland Monsters before recalling him back to the NHL so they can be eligible for the AHL's Calder Cup Playoffs. The deadline to make him eligible was 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
Sillinger, the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has 2-6--8 in 55 games this season and 18-21--39 in 134 NHL games.
