Blue Jackets prospect Gavin Brindley will play for Team USA at the 2024 World Juniors, USA Hockey announced Saturday.

Brindley, the No. 34 overall pick in the 2023 Draft, has posted 10-8--18 in 18 games as a sophomore for the Michigan Wolverines. He'll join Canada's Denton Mateychuk and Jordan Dumais as fellow Blue Jackets prospects to play the World Juniors that kicks off on Dec. 26.

Canada is looking to win its third-straight gold medal while the U.S. will seek to win gold for the first time since 2021 and improve upon its bronze-medal finish in 2023.
