And just like that, the offseason is upon us.  Exit interviews, locker clear outs, trades, buyouts, the draft, prospect camp...it's all coming up.

Here is my "to do" list for Jarmo & JD (in no particularly order):

1) Move Scott Hartnell.  Either get him to waive his NMC or buy him out so you're not wasting a protection spot on him in the expansion draft.  Father Time has caught him and he's simply not suited to play in the union blue anymore.  Thanks for the memories, Hartsy!

2) Protect Josh Anderson in the expansion draft.  This really only happens if #1 occurs first.

3) Sit tight leading up to the expansion draft.  Do NOT get into bidding wars to protect players - you're going to lose a player for sure, just let it be only one.

4) Give Vancouver the 2nd round pick this season - you're not likely to have a worse draft pick next season and this year's draft class isn't great.

5) Sign Gavrikov and let Ruopp walk / re-enter the draft.  That takes care of all draftee rights that need addressed.

6) Acquire a Top 6 center.  If that's not PLD, package Murray+ for a top 6 center.

7) Draft BPAs.  Duh.

8) Re-sign Wennberg to a 2-year bridge deal, under $3.5m annually.  Re-sign Josh Anderson, preferably under $2.5m AAV.  Depending on who Vegas picks, consider 1-year deals for Gagner and/or Quincey as cap space allows.

9) Get Bobrovsky a sports psychiatrist.
