Waddell traded Bemstrom mid season to the Penguins for Nylander and a 6th round pick. Bemstrom is now heading back to Europe.  Nylander is a similar player as Bemstrom. Basically we got a free 6th rounder.   

Looking back in the last year. Have we seen a trade where the CBJ didnt win the trade or at least get even value?

Laine - ?? call it even. He wasnt going to play here. We got a little something and cleared cap space....now he is the headache of others.

Jiracek - So far a steal for us

Texier - Only played 31 games last year....injuries and healthy scratches. What does that say about where the CBJ depth was if Texier is a healthy scratch a lot for another team?

The  more recent ones involving Coyle and Brindley are still TBD,
